Get rid of any mess and clutter. Messy looking tubes of toothpaste, razors, bottles of shaving foam - there's no need for these to be out on display for all to see. A gorgeous piece of art is a must for anyone wishing to replicate a spa feeling at home. Art doesn't have to break the bank either - it could be a simple print of your favourite painting, a black and white photo, or a colourful abstract piece.
A basket for your neatly folded fluffy towels is always sure to add a plush, swanky feel to your bathroom. Reminiscent of a fancy spa, this doesn't have to be costly but it adds texture and softness to the overall look of your bathroom.
And of course it's always handy to have some towels within arms reach for when you come out of the bath or shower. Make sure you only display your fluffiest and best though.
Have a little basket for slippers and flip flops, just like you'd see in the spa. Other things you could put in there include loofas and bath brushes, exfoliator gloves or any other pampering products for a DIY spa at home.

Get yourself a plant or some flowers. If you don't have the budget to splurge on fresh flowers every day, you could get yourself some lovely imitation blooms. Don't get the cheap looking, fake looking plastic ones. You can get some really fabulous replica flowers in stores such as Brown Thomas and they're cheaper than you'd think from around €5 for a decently sized spray. Alternatively, you could go with a delicate plant such as an orchid.
