We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated commercial sales representative to join our company

The Role

To support our current sales structure, we are seeking an experienced professional to generate demand for our products through specification with Architects, Mechanical Consultants, and Builders.

You will be required to identify upcoming projects using our CRM system which is populated with industry planning information with the objective of creating product specifications and presenting alternative product specifications which will be managed by way of back selling through our customer base in the region.

Working with our internal commercial sales team you will be responsible for overseeing the project lifecycle to ensure specifications are adhered to, and SONAS Bathrooms quality assurances are delivered. 

The Candidate

  • Should be based in Leinster
  • Have a proven track record in specification selling
  • Computer Literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM Programmes 
  • Highly motivated and organised individual with ability to effectively manage CRM tools
  • Ability to meet and exceed targets
  • Bathroom or relevant construction industry experience would be desirable

Sales Representative - Munster

The Role

  • Manage and develop an existing well-established retail and merchant customer base in Munster 
  • Increase showroom display and customer commitment to SONAS products 
  • Meet and exceed sales targets to enable the continued growth of the region 
  • Work the existing ASM to increase market share in the region

Credit Controller - Maternity Cover

Duties 

  • Cash Postings and allocation of payments / credits
  • Allocating Credit Notes
  • Contact customers by phone and other tools to ensure timely payment of all invoices, being pro-active to ensure an overdue situation does not occur.
  • Issuing Statements
  • Opening Accounts – Checking A/C Credit terms and references (Refer problem cases to Finance Director)
  • Maintenance of Debtors Ledger – E.G sorting problems regarding allocation of payments against particular invoices and credits.
  • Send Debtors List to sales team
  • Liaising with Customer Services on payment queries relating to Warranties and Price Queries. (update Text where Warranty is refused, Items Lost or Brakeage)
  • Checking References for new customer Account Applications
  • Setting up new Accounts (must be passed by Finance Director first).
  • Instigate meetings of the Debtors Committee
  • Legal Issues in relation to bad debts
  • Run end of month report on unallocated payments and allocate same.
  • Any other duties that may be appropriate to working in the Accounts Department.

  • To ensure your work is up to date and accurate.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of improved procedures within the Accounts Department
  • To ensure good communication is in place with all departments in the company.
  • Ensure that company policy is followed at all times

Graphic Designer

The Role

Working with our creative team you will contribute to the development of our product portfolio and the implementation of creative strategies in line with the company’s brand development strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant graphic design qualification and have 5 years’ experience in a similar role. The candidate must have ability to manage multiple projects, communicate with key stakeholders and collaborate with other artists.

The specific duties of this role will be to:

  •         Assisting and designing brochures, point of sale, quotation presentations, product data sheets and any other print material.

  •         Creating and implementing email campaigns,
  •         Designing and updating website graphics
  •         Prepare design presentations for commercial clients.
  •         Liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

The Candidate

Skills and experience required:

  •     Must have experience using graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Quark Xpress, Illustrator, InDesign)
  •     Email marketing tools (e.g. MailChimp)
  •     Excellent Project management skills, and an ability to work within budget and deadlines
  •     Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  •     Must deliver projects with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

The specific duties of this role will be to:

  • Help develop and implement a marketing strategy (both online & offline) to raise the profile of the brand
  • Establish and manage a suitable marketing budget
  • Manage the marketing mix with existing in-house and external resources to achieve the objectives and KPI’s of the business
  • PR - building of press relationships both online and traditional
  • Review and enhance existing brand messages & guidelines
  • Create and implement marketing campaigns to target our relevant audiences in each sales channel, RMI, New House Build & Commercial both offline and online

Production Operative

Sonas Bathrooms require a Production Operative to work in the fitting of Whirlpool Bath Systems, and the assembly of display boards sales premises. This role requires the use of handheld electric cutting and drilling tools for ceramic and composite products and has a mixture of technical and physical elements to it. This is a semi-skilled role and the successful candidate will be provided with on the job training specific to the position.

Skills & Requirements

  • Previous experience in working with cutting and drilling tools in a work environment.
  • An ability to understand design drawings/layouts
  • Manual Handling and Power Pallet Truck certification required.
  • Ability to work on own and in a team environment.
  • Manual skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Problem solver and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

    • Follow all Health & Safety procedures and adhere to the company's Safety Statement at all times; identify any risks/hazards or faulty equipment and report them to the Supervisor immediately. If/when working on Customer sites ensure that their safety rules and practices are followed.
    • Adhere to production targets and ensure all output meets strict company production standards.
    • Participate in Quality Control (QC) as required, including monitoring of the production process and carrying out basic testing and quality checks as directed.
    • Load and unload items as required an in accordance with safe practices
    • Assist Supervisor in machinery maintenance: identify damaged or ineffective equipment and/or remove machine attachments as necessary/as directed.
    • Liaise with and assist the Production Supervisor in relation to the storing of goods and raw materials in the warehouse.
