‘Two Oaks’, located in Knocklyon, Co. Dublin, represents a milestone in the area's residential landscape, offering the largest number of homes in a single developments in Knocklyon's history, according to available records.
Knocklyon, once home to only nine houses in 1901 and lacking established shops and street lighting as recently as 1974, has seen remarkable growth, now boasting a population of 3602 residents.
Two Oaks features 590 meticulously designed 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartments and duplexes, thoughtfully crafted to meet the needs of the expanding populace, enhancing the allure of this burgeoning neighborhood.

In collaboration with B&C Contractors, SONAS provided sanitary ware for all bathroom locations within the development, contributing to the project’s success with premium products that enhance quality, functionality, and finish.
About the Project
The project brief emphasised minimalism, cleanliness, and functionality to cater to families, making accessibility a key aspect of the build.

SONAS Bathrooms excelled by supplying one of the largest Build-to-Rent (BTR) developments during a challenging pandemic characterised by global supply shortages and increased prices. Our Specifications team met targets on budget and within the deadline with minimal delay.
Resolution Management
National Residential Sales Manager, Paul O’Neill, worked on supplying the products for this project and commented that it was commendable of the developers, Ardstone, to put their trust in companies to deliver during such a trying period.
“The main focus for us was getting a schedule and establishing good communication with everybody on site… This gave us the opportunity to prove that SONAS offers reliability for Buy to Let schemes and rental properties who are looking to buy from an Irish company, to prove that if anything was to happen, they can come straight to us in Dublin, and we will get it sorted out. Ardstone put their trust in us to supply the product and we delivered. That is key.”
He followed up by saying that good communication, help from the retailer, Dublin Providers Limited in Dundalk, and understanding of the guys on site, B&C Contractors in particular, meant they were able to keep the project on track.
